Beliefs I work from

Most of us weren’t taught how to be adults

How we live matters as much as what we think

Most of us weren’t taught how to be adults

Many of the things we struggle with; boundaries, relationships, self-worth, balance, even general adulting like finance, consumerism and self-care, aren’t personal failures, they’re skills we were never shown how to develop. We are figuring a lot of this out as we go, blaming ourselves for mistakes instead of giving ourselves some grace.

Perfection is not the goal

How we live matters as much as what we think

I value ambition, standards, and growth, but not at the expense of humanity and realism.
Expecting ourselves and others to be perfect only creates pressure and disappointment, which can lead to anger, jealousy and resentment. I’m interested in progress that respects capacity, not ideals that exhaust us.

Our wellbeing isn’t separate from our lifestyle, it’s shaped by how we rest, relate, move, and nourish ourselves. I’m interested in work that supports a life that feels sustainable and lived, not just managed. This often means an honest look at our lifestyle to see how we treat ourselves and what may need to change.

Get medical support where needed

Carrying guilt or shame - Context matters more than judgement

How we live matters as much as what we think

Mind, Body and Spirit are all connected. Stress and emotional load can show up in the body and physical symptoms deserve proper medical attention. Coaching works best alongside appropriate healthcare if needed, not instead of it. Supporting yourself well means engaging with both.

Understanding lightens what we carry

Carrying guilt or shame - Context matters more than judgement

Carrying guilt or shame - Context matters more than judgement

We can soften or release what weighs us down when we’re willing to look honestly at ourselves and our patterns with curiosity rather than judgement. Change can be easy or hard, but its clarity makes it possible. When something is understood, it no longer has to run quietly in the background and have power.

Our life events create the internal working to how we respond to what comes next. I’m more interested in what shaped a behaviour or response than in the behaviour itself. I won’t judge, but I will reflect honestly and we work through it together. Insight, not shame, is what creates lasting change.

The Qualifications

  • The official qualifications - NLP Master Practitioner, IEMT Advanced Practitioner, Metaphors of Movement, Indirect Hypnosis, Old Pain 2 Go, Safeguarding. I’ve trained in relationships, grief, transactional analysis, menopause and domestic abuse and more.

A word about my health and how it shaped my work

  • Over the past few years, my own health has required me to slow down, listen more closely, and rethink how I live and work. From early 2022, I experienced overlapping long Covid and perimenopause, alongside lifelong migraines that became significantly more severe during perimenopause. Over time, this was joined by a frozen shoulder and, later, a resolved early-stage skin cancer diagnosis.

  • For a period, my life involved regular GP and hospital appointments across multiple departments, long waiting times, and the cumulative toll that comes with navigating the medical system while still trying to live and work. Although everything was successfully treated, and my health is now stable and rebuilding, that period changed me, and it changed my work.

  • What I learned first-hand is that health challenges don’t just affect you physically. They affect your confidence, your capacity, your identity, your work, your relationships, and your sense of control. They ask you to make peace with uncertainty, often while others around you struggle to understand, minimise what you’re dealing with, or quietly ignore and move on.

  • This experience has deepened my work with women navigating mental load, hormonal change, chronic health considerations, menopause and the internal recalibration that often follows. Working with them in a capacity led realistic way.

  • My philosophy around this work is simple: accepting what is real, educating yourself so you can make informed choices, and advocating for yourself within the systems you have to navigate. I had to do this for myself. Now I help others do the same.

I owe so much to Shelia in regards to my current state of mind and wellbeing which is forward looking and positive, and I can honestly say that without her kindness, consideration and expert support I would probably be still in a dark place with nowhere to go.
